Tips for this email

  1. Describe the product precisely (material, size, standard, packing) so that quotes from different suppliers can be compared.
  2. Ask for the price on a named Incoterms rule and currency, with the minimum order quantity, lead time, payment terms and validity.
  3. Ask for the HS code and the product certificates early: they decide your import duty and whether the goods can be imported.
