Proforma invoice email template (English)

Send the proforma invoice and ask the buyer to confirm and pay the deposit or open the L/C. The emails are in English, the usual language of international trade. Nothing you type is sent to Triplicate.

Tips for this email

  1. Use a proforma number and date you can match later on the commercial invoice.
  2. Ask the buyer to sign and return the proforma: it is the basis for the deposit or the letter of credit application.
  3. Check the bank details on the proforma before you send it: the buyer pays to what is written there.
