Sales contract (for signature) email template (English)

Send the sales contract to the buyer for review and signature after the price and terms are agreed. The emails are in English, the usual language of international trade. Nothing you type is sent to Triplicate.

Tips for this email

  1. Send the contract with the same number, items and prices as your proforma invoice, so the two documents match.
  2. Ask the buyer to sign and return the whole contract, and keep the signed copy with the order file.
  3. If the buyer pays by letter of credit, check that the contract terms (Incoterms rule, shipment date, documents) match the credit before you ship.
