क्या HS कोड हर देश में एक ही होता है?
पहले 6 अंक HS 2022 इस्तेमाल करने वाले हर देश में एक जैसे होते हैं और नेशनल कोड इन्हीं पर बनते हैं: EU का CN, US का HTS, भारत के ITC-HS और HSN कोड और ब्राज़ील का NCM, सब इन्हीं अंकों से शुरू होते हैं। हर देश अपने अंक जोड़ता है (आम तौर पर 8 या 10 तक) और ड्यूटी रेट खुद तय करता है, इसलिए डेस्टिनेशन देश का टैरिफ़ ज़रूर देखें।
